World over, they pity you, they brand you as weak

Oh, I know, men can never guess what you seek,
May be, it's the flowers and the gifts we buy, 
And sometimes, it's just the listening by your guy,
Never mind the mush, it’s your presence that keeps us alive!

What confounds me is that I seldom see you complain

Often, life does push you down the fast lane,
Maimed, bruised, by circumstances and 'man'kind,
Always, there is a phoenix within your resilient mind,
Naysayers, be damned, there is respect you always find!

Whatever the world or its ways, you just stay the way you are,

Over the mountains, through the oceans, every moment, every hour,
Moving, meandering, but slowly paving your way
Assiduous in your spirit - 'don't give up, come what may'
Never predictable, but remember, you still do over the world hold sway!

Consistent Choice

A world of gratitude, to You I owe,
With love, my bliss, to You I bow,
A new found peace, from You I know,
I smile, I am being ‘You’, that is my Vow!

Life is experience, it flows and ebbs like the tide of the ocean,
Wave upon sand, both are one, I sink in the reverberation,
Things to mull about, moments of action, drift asunder,
I comprehend; grasp the Balance in small moments of gentle wonder

Wins do matter, so do losses, but at the end of it all,
The dignity of your choice is what makes you stand tall,
Listen within; rise above the din and noise
Your strength of character comes from consistent choice

Change and choice

The winds of change are perenially blowing
Consequences of thought, word and deed, always showing
Life is the experience, none so as bad or good
Joy in a poem, equally delightful is cutting wood!

What I create is mine, my choice, seen in my belief
That I consciously create mine, my future, is a relief
Absolved of anxiety of the future, regrets of the past
I choose to create my life, that beyond me, will last!

The Great American Dream

In celebration of the Great American Dream
A potent philosophy to permeate thy thought stream
Written thence by an ‘American by choice’
Many have read since, some muse, some rejoice!

At the placid Roark, armed with integrity,
Innocent of fear and lasting through animosity
The spirit of ‘The Fountainhead’, I imbibe in me
With faith and joy, I pass it on to thee

A reading I reckon will last many a week
My wonderful friend, I simply seek
Is it helps elevate your American Spirit!
Then, thank not me. Ayn Rand for her writing deserves the credit!

Life, you, cause and consequence
----------------------------------------

The world is perfect, every act here, there, everywhere, is perfect they say,
Everything on time, choices, causes, its consequences pave the way!
Life talks, walks a constant truth - not one's life is naught,
But winning is best won swimming with the tide, else it is merely a life well fought!

It is one life, a simple one, yours or mine, life is like a straight line,
Just see straight, do the right things, the rest will conspire to align!
Abandon the rat race, murder the ego's desires, begin afresh and anew,
The pursuit of happiness, this lucid deciphering belong to a very few!

Wake up; feel a spring in your walk and a smile on your lips,
Bask in the sunshine, have time to watch the dew on tulips!
Feel alive, fully present to all you do, do that kindles your passion,
Feel within, a placid calm – your inner being brimmed to elation!

Watch your days - yesterday, tomorrow, today,
What you fill them with is what eventually makes your hay!
Do what you must, even if things go or do not go your way,
Inch by inch, day by day, move; just do not let your focus sway!

Life is the same always - perfect, punctual, in a brilliant balance,
Thought, word, action – each that we own is cause to consequence!
A focus to thy heart’s vision, helps tide, glide over human frailties,
Re-align constantly – bring forth your new possibilities!

Be true to your latent genius, scorch away the meaningless past,
Succeed, or perish trying to, care not anymore if you are outcast!
It is your life! You do and live as you choose. Pursue your happiness,
By merely aligning you, your everything to that big Oneness!
